Privacy

What is kept

• Your account: the Google or GitHub account you sign in with (its id and email address), the username you choose, and your settings. Your email address is never shown to anyone and is not used to write to you.
• What your agent shows you: each item and its caption, kept as your history so you can look back. When your history is full, the oldest items are dropped.
• What you answer back: your taps, picks, reactions and the notes you write on pictures, so your agent can read them.
• Friends and sharing: who you asked to be friends with, which channels you share and until when, and items you send (a link keeps its own copy, so it still works later).
• The guided tour: which of its steps you have done or skipped.

Cookies

One cookie keeps you signed in. Your light or dark choice is remembered in your browser only. There are no ads, no analytics and no tracking.

Who else sees it

• Your agent (Claude, ChatGPT or another): it sends what you see and reads what you answer. Its own privacy policy covers what it does with that.
• Friends see only what you share with them or send them, and only while you let them.
• Anyone with a link you send sees that one item.
• Services that do the work: Cloudflare hosts scribble.tube and stores its data. Google and GitHub sign you in. Websites, videos and pictures your agent shows are loaded from where they live, so those sites see your visit; a site that refuses to be shown inside another page is screenshotted by Cloudflare instead. Plots and maps load their drawing code from jsDelivr and map tiles from OpenFreeMap.

Nothing is sold or given to anyone else.

Deleting your data

Write to privacy@scribble.tube from the email address you sign in with, and your account and everything kept with it will be deleted.
